Keene School District Announces Interim Director of Keene Community Education

Prior to joining Community Education, Farrington held the positions of Principal of Annunciation Catholic School (Middleburg, FL), Assistant Principal of St. Joan of Arc Catholic School (Boca Raton, FL), and Teaching Principal of St. Monica Catholic School (Miami Gardens, FL). Farrington, a NH native and Keene High School graduate, has served as classroom teacher and administrator at both the elementary and Pre-k through grade 8 levels. Ms. Farrington will replace Linda Morehouse who currently holds the position and is retiring at the end of the 2020-2021 school year.

In her position, Ms. Farrington will oversee the operations of Keene Community Education programs and services, including Adult Education as well as the Alternative Diploma, Apprenticeship and Enrichment programs.

Upon learning of her selection, Ms. Farrington stated, “As a graduate of SAU 29 (KHS Class of 1978), it is great to be working in my hometown again, and I am excited for the opportunity to give back to the school district that provided me with such an excellent educational foundation. With the support of the fantastic people at Keene Community Education, and the SAU 29 staff, I hope to continue and build upon the important achievements of my predecessors, especially Linda Morehouse as we wish her well on her retirement.”
