Symonds School Survey Results

As an outgrowth of the discussions with our neighbors about the newly constructed “bus circle” at Symonds a subgroup is conducting a survey to get a better understanding of how your children get to and from school.

2019 Ninth Annual Exceptional Teacher Awards

These awards are a way for our community to recognize our teachers for their outstanding work on behalf of our students. The ten teachers were carefully chosen from nominations submitted by colleagues, parents, and students.

Measles In Keene - UPDATE

We had previously posted a note linking to the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) stating that a NH resident visited public locations in Keene during their infectious period with the measles. It has now been confirmed the child suspected of having measles was misdiagnosed and is not contagious. Please click on the heading above for more information.

2019 Exceptional Teacher Award

This June, the Keene Board of Education will award ten Exceptional Teacher awards for 2019. These awards are a way for our community to thank our teachers for their exceptional work on behalf of our students. Each recipient will receive $500.00.

Winners will be announced and receive recognition during the June 2019 Keene Board of Education Meeting, to be held on June 11, 2019 at Keene High School in the Large Group Instruction Area (time to be determined)

Keene High School Scholarship Applications

All scholarship applications are available now in the Keene High School main office and the deadline to turn in completed applications to the Keene High School main office is Friday, April 12, 2019 by 3:00 pm. We encourage seniors to apply for any and all scholarships they qualify for as we have a very generous community who wants to give as much as they can to our students.
