Ready for Kindergarten

Help Your Child GROW and LEARN

Parents, guardians, caregivers of children from birth through age 5 are invited to participate in a FREE parent education program offered by the Keene School District. Ready! for Kindergarten focuses on the development of skills children need to be ready to succeed in school when they enter kindergarten. Funded by the Keene School District's Title I grant this research-based program provides information and content that empowers parents to help their child(ren) to grow as learners.

How it works:

Parents who wish to take part in Ready! for Kindergarten attend three classes per year - one in the fall, winter, and spring. Fall classes focus on letters and sounds; winter classes focus on math and reasoning; spring classes focus on social and emotional skills. Though parents are encouraged to join classes upon the birth of their child, they may join at any time before their child's fifth birthday. Participating parents much be residents of Keene to participate in Keene School District classes.

All classes are held on Monday evenings at

Jonathan Daniels School
227 Maple Avenue, Keene, NH.

We regret that we cannot provide childcare; this is a class for adults only.
